Writing articles for the search engines (google) is not the most easy thing in the world but there are steps to follow to make your article stand out and do well on search engines. The steps are simple and pretty straight-foward but a considerable amount of thought should go into it. The secret is in the keywords and keyword phrases. The very first thing you need to do for an article is figure out precisely what the article is going to be about. Take this article I am writing now, it's about search engines. Before I started this article I sat down and wrote out a list of primary keywords and then took the first 2 and labled them "primary keywords" and the rest were labled as "secondary keywords" It was simple for this article because the primary keywords were only search engine and articles , my secondary were more traffic and optimization. I kept these "keywords and phrases" in mind as I write this article. I basically write around these terms, I'll give an example because this is important.

If I was going to write a simple sentence for an article with the above keywords like,..

I would change it to fit my specific article keyword strategy. The above sentence would help the article I was writing none. This would make the sentence look like this or somewhat like this.

Not only does the second example read better, it also helps to rank your article in the search engines for your goal keywords which include Traffic and Search engines . If you use this tip throughout the article and promotions (i'll get to that a bit later) you should optimize your chances for organic traffic from major search engines.
