Traffic exchanges if used correctly can put you in contact and plain view of the exact type of internet browsers and website owners you want to be seen by. Most traffic exchanges are viewed only by new internet marketers and occasionally smart people with facebook pages, and the sort, who want to get more visitors. This is why you see the splash pages for farmville and profile design, you may have laughed and wondered why they were present, now you know. They are a small percentage of the captive audience that are reading ads and clicking ads at free traffic exchanges. There are different types of traffic exchanges from high end (paid) to plain regular (semi-useless) free types. In my oppinion, and this is based on 5 years of trial and error experience using traffic exchanges, they are useless unless you have a clearly defined strategy in place, if not you will just be clicking and clicking and sometimes even endangering your google advertising account by placing certain pages (pages with adsense ads) on traffic exchanges. Traffic exchanges are useful in a very narrow way but used correctly they can automatically generate hundreds of hits to the exact audience you need. Now lets get on with the secret to building your own perpetual traffic machine.

There are really only 2 to 4 traffic exchanges worth the time and effort of clicking and viewing ads on and if you are reading you are at the right ones . Here is my formula and explanation as to why. incidentally the two I use this technique on are...

TRAFFICSWARM - Because it is the best. The design is awesome and the control panel feels big time not rinky dink, this insures that it will continue to be tops in the free traffic exchange arena.

Easyhits4u - Because it has so many users and ads up all over the internet. It is one of the bigger free traffic exchanges around and full of marketers zoned out and clicking.

Now many "gurus" will tell you that free traffic exchanges are useless with the type of traffic they deliver but I know for a fact that those who say this are just using them wrong. The Idea is to quickly get to a point where there is no need for clicking and viewing ads in exchange for your ad showing. The trick is to get to a point where the signup credits insure you have a health amount of credits and never have to spend time clicking beyond the initial clicks to get the ball rolling. How did I accomplish this? Well that is the whole point of this articles isn't it?

Here is what I do. I use trafficswarm to promote easyhits4u and vice versa, chances are the majority of the viewers at one place have not heard of the other and the appealing design of the 2 will cause webmasters to signup. This will get you credits for each signup and you will not have to click ads beyond the initial get the ball rolling stage. I usually pay the small fee $5 or so to purchase a few hundred credits so I won't have to click. This works and has been working like a charm for me for over 5 years. I seldom go back to the traffic exchanges except to email my downline and/or edit page urls I want promoted.
